Steven Klein (Chief Executive Officer)
Mr. Klein formed Bridge Partners in 1990 and leads the organization in his role as President. He is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company and the firm’s debt and equity relationships. Prior to founding Bridge Partners, Mr. Klein was a Project Manager for the Trammell Crow Company in Los Angeles, California. His responsibilities there included the acquisition, development, and construction management of commercial projects in the Los Angeles area. Mr. Klein received a Bachelor of Science from UC Davis and a Masters in Business Administration from UCLA.
Julie Gutzwiller (Chief Financial Officer)
Ms. Gutzwiller joined Bridge Partners in 2001. She serves as CFO with responsibility for all partnership and tax reporting, investor relations, acquisitions, dispositions and asset management. With specialized expertise in affordable housing and partnership interest acquisitions, she leads the company’s growth in these areas. Prior to joining Bridge Partners, she was a Senior Analyst for Keyser Marston Associates, Inc. where she focused on the economics of affordable and market rate housing. Ms. Gutzwiller received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
Brad Harrington (Acquisitions)
Mr. Harrington joined Bridge Partners in 2007. His current responsibilities include acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and oversight of the company’s insurance and property tax obligations. Mr. Harrington’s acquisition expertise includes note purchases, and he leads the company’s growth in this area. Prior to joining Bridge Partners, Mr. Harrington was a Product Marketing Manager and Engineering Manager at Oracle Corporation and Salesforce.com in San Francisco, CA. Mr. Harrington received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
Luca Mangini (Acquisitions)
Mr. Mangini joined Bridge Partners in 2007. His current responsibilities include corporate and business strategy, acquisitions, dispositions and asset management. Mr. Mangini has specialized expertise in the acquisition and operations of student housing, and leads the company’s growth in this segment. Prior to joining Bridge Partners, Mr. Mangini was the Vice President of Acquisitions for Jackson Square Properties, where he was responsible for sourcing and financing all acquisitions. Mr. Mangini received a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School of Business.
Steven Yu (Acquisitions)
Mr. Yu joined Bridge Partners in 2015. His current responsibilities include investment sourcing, underwriting, due diligence and asset management. Prior to joining Bridge Partners, Mr. Yu was an acquisitions analyst at Trust Company of the West, where he sourced, priced, acquired, and managed single family rental homes for the Real Estate Special Situations Group. Mr. Yu received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dennette M. Bjorklund (Controller)
Ms. Bjorklund joined Bridge Partners in 1993. She currently serves as Controller with responsibility for property accounting, internal reporting and cash management. Prior to joining Bridge Partners, Ms. Bjorklund worked with Kemper Real Estate.
Velina A. Barnes (Asset Manager)
Ms. Barnes joined Bridge Partners in 2017 as an Asset Manager and brings over a decade of multifamily asset management in the real estate investment industry to our team. Prior to joining Bridge Partners Ms. Barnes worked for the Lapham Company as Senior Portfolio Manager where she managed a large portfolio of assets and investor relations. Her experience included, asset management as well as developing and implementing company/client strategies from acquisition and lease up to disposition. During her tenure, Ms. Barnes also oversaw company internal operational management strategies as well as employee recruitment and on-boarding. Ms. Barnes received a B.S degree from Western Carolina University and holds a California Real Estate License.
Carrie Dern (Asset Manager)
Joining Bridge Partners as an Asset Manager in 2016, Ms. Dern brings over 15 years of real estate investment management to the Bridge team. Her experience spans the retail, office, hotel and non-profit industry sectors. After receiving a BBA from the University of San Diego, she secured her CPA at Arthur Andersen and Company, gaining experience in both the audit and tax departments. Ms. Dern obtained her MBA from UC Berkeley and joined The Yarmouth Group/Lend Lease, advancing to become Senior VP of Retail Asset Management.
Karla Hill (Asset Manager)
Ms. Hill joined Bridge Partners in 2007 as an Asset Manager. Ms. Hill has been active in the multifamily and commercial property management industry since 1994. Prior to joining Bridge Partners, Ms. Hill worked for a regional builder/developer as a Portfolio Manager where she oversaw all property operations including lease up, acquisitions and dispositions. Ms. Hill brings a depth of skills and experience in property and asset management to the Bridge Partners team.
Cindy Lynds (Asset Manager)
Ms. Lynds joined Bridge Partners in March 2014 as an Asset Manager. Ms. Lynds has worked in the commercial real estate industry for over 20 years. She has extensive institutional experience in Sales & Acquisitions, Asset Management and Loan Originations. Prior to joining Bridge Partners, Ms. Lynds was a Vice President with Prudential Real Estate Investors & Prudential Realty Group in San Francisco. She has also worked as an independent consultant for firms such as Bedford Property Investors (REIT) and Chamberlain Associates (Real Estate Development company). She received a BBA and MBA from the University of Texas @ Austin.
Leslie Ahlvin (Administrative Coordinator)
Ms. Ahlvin joined Bridge Partners in 2005. Her current responsibilities include asset management support and the coordination of office operations and procedures.
